JAMES WATSON

Jim received his undergraduate and law degrees from Baylor University.  Following graduation from law school in 1982, he served as briefing attorney to the Honorable W. C. Davis, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, and has been exclusively engaged in a civil and personal injury litigation practice since 1983.  He is admitted to practice in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.  Jim is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Tarrant County Bar Association.  He is also a member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and Defense Research Institute.  Jim has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1987, is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and has earned the “AV Preeminent” rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.  Jim has been selected to Super Lawyers every year since the inception of the list in 2003, and has been listed in Best Lawyers since 2010.  Jim is a founding partner.
